A common experience of the call to Mediumship/Shamanism is a psychic or spiritual crisis which also accompanies a physical or medical crisis and indicates overwhelming emotional stress. There will also be the inability of the traditional remedies to cure the condition or conditions because many different types of dis-eases could possibly manifest, and all of the blood tests will indicate the presence of the disease as well. Please acknowledge that it is your soul taking you through this experience for you will come out of this a teacher of a higher way of thinking and being. The Shamanic candidate will have an eventual cure but it will be self cure and will come with a change of thinking and intention. It does however, require a few things: that we approach this new knowledge with an open mind; that the gifted or chosen person learns the art of action thru non-action or the art of letting things happen on their own; that it’s a requirement to learn to let go of ourselves by learning forgiveness. These combined are the keys to open up that door to the psyche……..and the new Shaman emerges.

When you learn to let your higher powers work for you and you ask for their help and intervention, these powers will lead you through life. You will not walk through this incarnation unscathed or without incident, for we are all here to learn and only through tests, trials, and adversity do we grow and go forward. Most of us also find it hard to squash the mind-talk that goes on in our brain. When we are successful in finally overcoming that obstacle, we are presented with others. First, our conscious-mind objects, and all the red flags go up because of our previous programming which is usually very limited. Then comes the criticisms from the skeptics….friends and foes alike, as their individual minds have not reached this state of development, they try to depreciate this gift, and it truly is “a gift.” When this is taken a step further and this individual is exalted consciously, they step into a new realm of being which ultimately leads them out of their limited ways of thinking and living, and indicates that they can now face life as a “true adventure” as their path is now crystal clear.
